Lazy Days of Summer Online Vendors Shop Hop! August 7-8-9

Oh, those Lazy Daze in August (read "days") are a prime time for quilting!  When I lived in North Carolina, I used to set up my machine right in front of the air conditioner and make things happen!

This  year, I'm a participating vendor in the Lazy Daze of Summer shop hop, which is a collection of your favorite online and quilt show vendors who have planned a fun, quick, and easy hop for you!

There are seven vendors in six locations, all in Snohomish County!  Have your Travel Pass stamped in each location, pick up a free block pattern/kit, and visit all of the sites!  Then turn in your Travel Pass to be eligible for a great drawing with multiple prize baskets.

Here's the link to the participating shops:

And all of the information you'll need is on the web site.

Come back and visit this site for a preview of the block I designed!  Hint:  Our theme this year is "baskets" and the blocks are fabulous!

Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club - annual show in beautiful Sequim July 17-18-19!

Ah, that fragrance of lavender!  Sequim must be the center of the lavender universe - at least it is for me!

The Sunbonnet Sues have their annual quilt show during lavender festival weekend, and it is an amazing place to be!  There are some extraordinary quilters in Sequim and the quilt-appreciators pour in to see it all.  You should be there!

Applique is a specialty in Sequim, as well as lots of fun art quilts!  And I always see quilts with a beach or ocean theme, from these folks who really enjoy their lives on the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

So come out and see the show!  It has been a while since you have been to a quilt show, right?  At least a week!  Threadmongers will be there.  And you need thread!
