All Your Quilting Friends Want Thread for Christmas!

Have I mentioned lately that all your quilting friends

want thread for Christmas? I’ll bring it up again…

Hand Quilting Threads - use your favorites!

Hand quilting - what threads do you like?

Technically, you can hand quilt with anything. It just depends on the "look" you want for your project.

You can use a "glazed" thread that is pre-treated with a thread conditioner, or use a non-glazed thread and treat it yourself with a thread conditioner like Thread Magic.

Many quilters prefer a 40-weight cotton hand quilting thread:

YLI Select traditional hand quilting glazed thread

YLI 40-weight non-glazed thread

Aurifil 40-weight thread

Mettler 40-weight thread

King Tut 40-weight thread

Or something heavier?

Aurifil 28-weight thread

Sulky 30-weight thread

Or even heavier?

Aurifil 12-weight thread

Wonderfil's Spagetti 12-weight thread

Valdani #12 Pearl Cotton

Threadmongers has them all! Plus traditional Sashiko thread or use a 12-weight thread for your Sashiko stitching.

See all these threads plus MANY MORE at the Clark County Quilters QuiltFest Northwest October 21-23 or at the Block Party Quilters show November 12-14. Or PM me her to inquire! Yes, I mail thread orders all the time!

QuiltFest Northwest is coming soon! October 21-23

Threadmongers will be a vendor at this amazing show! If you are anywhere near Clark County, get this on your calendar!!

Threadmongers show schedule for 3Q and 4Q 2021!

Yay!  The big improvement in COVID numbers has allowed some Western Washington guilds to proceed with their quilt shows!

Many guilds are not able to reschedule – largely because of issues pertaining to venues and time needed for preplanning.  So we are LUCKY that these PLUCKY guilds are gearing up for shows:
