Woolley Fiber Quilters present "United We Stand" July 12-13-14!

The Woolley Fiber Quilters are having their 10th annual quilt and fiber show!

I could say "we" are having because this is my local group.  We are not a guild, per se, but we are the administrative group that puts on the show in Sedro-Woolley so that all the local fiber artists can show their work.

There is no doubt that Sedro-Woolley is a quilting town!  We have several active quilting groups and TWO quilt shops!  Plus Threadmongers!

So make that beautiful drive to Sedro-Woolley on July 12-13-14 and come on out to see us at Cascade Middle School (905 McGarigle Road) just off Highway 9.  We'll show you 250+ quilts, demonstrations, vendors, a member boutique, and our popular bed turning!

Food will be available for purchase on site and we have GREAT parking!

One of our vendors will be a scissors sharpening booth and you SHOULD bring your scissors and let Butch tune them up while you enjoy the show.

Threadmongers will be there with a fresh collection of #12 pearl cotton from Valdani as well as all your favorites.  Yes, I still have the lowest price on Aurifil that you will find anywhere.  And lots of metallic threads for your sparkly moods!

Come see the Woolley Fiber Quilters show and help us celebrate 10 years - we can hardly believe it.   There is so much inspiration for you here in Sedro-Woolley.

Shades of the Northwest in Sedro-Woolley July 13-14-15!

It's almost here!  The Woolley Fiber Quilters' ninth annual quilt show in Sedro-Woolley!

Again this year at Cascade Middle School (905 McGarigle Road) which is just north of Highway 20 (turn north at Rite Aid/Hwy 9), you'll find 250+ quilts, bed turning (11 and 2 daily), demonstrations, vendors, people's choice awards, featured quilter, raffle quilt, and so much fun!

I think you all know that this is my group and my home turf!  So I'll have quilts in the show and I'm a vendor, too!  We always position the vendors in front of the paypoint for the show, so you can come in and shop at any time.

Hint:  Butch Stearns will be there sharpening knives, etc.  So bring your tools that need sharpening and drop them off with Butch early in the day; pick them up on your way out.

Sedro-Woolley is a quilting town.  It's that simple.  We have quilters on every corner and our own little treasure of a fabric shop:  Cascade Fabrics downtown on Metcalf Street (where it has been for 40 years).

So come on over to Sedro-Woolley and see quilts, have lunch, and take a look around.
