Block Party Quilters Nov. 9-10-11 Without Borders!!

The Block Party Quilters have the distinction of having the last guild quilt show in the region every year and they take that responsibility seriously!  They have a BLOWOUT of a FABULOUS show every time!

Located at the beautiful Issaquah Community Center, this show has a magical quality - the mid-November light coming through all the windows and the two-story atrium feel draws you in to the maze of wonderful quilts.  Come early, stay late.  Chat with the guild members and featured artist.  Relax in the tea room. And then see it all again!

Fill up your brain with inspiration for that winter sewing until mid-February until the Kitsap Quilters have the first show of the guild-quilt-show year.

Yes, it's a long winter and you need lots of THREAD to get you through!

Have I mentioned that I have the new three-ply Aurifil cones that longarmers have been asking for?

Also the new GlaMore 12-weight metallic thread that you can use in your machine!

Using the right thread is the path to the perfect quilt.  You heard that here first!

2017

So come a few short miles on I-90 to Issaquah and enjoy a perfect quilter's day.  Or two!

Threadmongers will be there!!

Bibbity bobbin boo!

Just a quick reminder:

Are you interested in trying prewound bobbins?

The most important thing to know about this is WHAT SIZE bobbin your machine uses!!

Threadmongers carries:

  • L style
  • Class 15
  • or M Style (used by some longarm machines)

Here is a resource for you on prewounds:

http://threadmongers.blogspot.com/2012/11/prewoundbobbins-do-they-fit-my-machine.html

Make a point of knowing what size bobbins your machine uses.  If you have more than one machine...make sure you identify them all!  That way, when you come across the prewound bobbins at the Threadmongers booth you'll know what to choose!

The best way to know how prewound bobbins perform in your machine is to try them!

If your friend has a machine that takes the same size, share a package of prewounds so you can both get the experience.

See you at the next quilt show!
