Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club annual quilt show July 18-19-20!

The Sunbonnet Sues are planning another amazing quilt show to be held during Sequim's Lavender Festival!  This is an easy show to attend - lots of parking or ride the little transit bus that serves the official Lavender Festival locations.

Sequim is the World Headquarters (!!!) for The Applique Society and the Sunbonnet Sues always have some delicious applique quilts to display as well as their other fabulous works.  The "Art Sues" also challenge each other with fun ideas and, well, you get the picture, there is inspiration everywhere at this show!

This guild also has one of the BEST member boutiques anywhere!  Come and do your birthday and Christmas shopping for sure!

Finally, it is always SRO at the Sunbonnet Sues' bed turning.  Where do they get all of the fabulous vintage quilts?

Threadmongers will be there!  Wouldn't miss it.  What a pleasure to be at this show, every year!

Blast of Freedom! Sedro-Woolley's quilt show June 6-7-8!

It's here!  The Woolley Fiber Quilters have been preparing their best quilt show EVER!

Blast of Freedom will be held at the former Holland Drug location and the former Curves location, both on Metcalf Street in downtown Sedro-Woolley!

Once again, the show will feature a bed-turning with some delicious vintage quilts, including doll quilts!  And vendors, a raffle quilt, demonstrations, and lots of quilting inspiration for you!

Some members have made quilts which will be donated to veterans' quilt organizations, and the organizations will have representatives on hand to tell you about their important work.

So make plans to visit Downtown Sedro-Woolley during Blast from the Past and come to the Blast of Freedom quilt show!  If you or a member of your party are interested in the vintage car show, it will be on Sunday, June 8th only, in the downtown core.  Where?  You can't miss it!  Come downtown and see everything!   Threadmongers will be there!

One of the BIGGEST guilds in the state, the Clark County Quilters produce an annual quilt show second to none!  Come and see the talent of these Southwest Washington quilters and the creative results of a year's work!  There are talented applique-ers (including wool applique), traditional quilters, art quilters, prize-winning quilters, and SO MUCH MORE!  Ok, my prejudice is showing, I used to live in Vancouver WA and I'm still a member of this huge, friendly guild.  You are sure to have a full day of inspiration and quilting FUN at this show.  Don't miss it!  And, you heard it here first, Threadmongers will be there!
