Sea Pal Quilters of Ocean Shores - 2013 Whale of a Quilt Show!

Quilt Show Publicity - another idea for you

Be sure to take flyers to your local hotels and motels!  Often visitors are looking for something interesting to do - one in every 14 households in the US has a quilter!  So you might have a quilter visiting your town! 

Include the hotels that specialize in business travelers - I used to look for quilt shops and shows when I was traveling as a consultant.  And there are also "trailing spouses" (yes, that's what they're called) who are looking for a way to spend the day while their spouse is working. 

Develop those relationships with the hospitality industry.  There might be a great door prize in your future or you might benefit directly or indirectly from hotel/motel taxes collected in your town to encourage tourism!
